Platinum Credit Group

Understand what’s holding
your credit back.

Most people are told their score is low. Almost no one is told why, or what to do about it in what order. We help you see what a lender sees, in plain language, and give you a prioritized plan for the goal you’re actually working toward.

Start free. No credit report, no Social Security number, and no account required. We don’t promise score increases or approvals — we promise you’ll finally know where you stand.

Why trust us

Before you share anything, here’s how we handle it.

You should not have to hand over sensitive financial information to a company that hasn’t earned it. So we’ll go first.

Your data is encrypted in transit

Information you submit travels over an encrypted connection and is stored on managed infrastructure with restricted access controls.

A specialist reviews your analysis

Our technology assists the analysis. A Platinum Credit Group specialist reviews the file before anything is presented to you as guidance.

Consumer rights come first

We operate under federal consumer-protection rules, including CROA and FCRA operating standards, and we tell you plainly what we can and cannot do.

Plain-language disclosures

Our privacy policy, service terms, and compliance disclosures are published and linked from every page — not buried.

No outcome promises

We do not promise score increases, deletions, or financing approval. Anyone who does is not being straight with you.

Real people you can reach

You can contact us before you share anything sensitive. Questions first is a perfectly reasonable way to start.

Platinum Credit Group is a US-based financial intelligence firm. Everything we claim about security, privacy, and what our services do is written down and linked here — read it before you share anything.

Before you start

Exactly what happens when you begin.

No surprises, no hidden step. Here is the whole process in eight lines.

The first step is free

The Credit Readiness Assessment costs nothing and requires no payment details.

No report or SSN to begin

It asks about your goal, timeline, and concerns. Sharing a credit report is a later, optional step.

We do not pull your credit

There is no bureau inquiry. If you choose to go deeper, you supply your own report — a PDF or a clear photo.

A specialist reviews the file

Software reads and organizes; a Platinum Credit Group specialist reviews findings before anything reaches you.

Payment comes after clarity

Encrypted in transit

Submissions travel over an encrypted connection and are stored with restricted access. Details in Trust & Security.

You can request deletion

You may request an export or deletion of your data at any time. See the privacy policy for retention.

Questions first is fine

You can talk to a person before sharing anything sensitive.

How Platinum works

Four steps. No guesswork.

  1. 01

    Tell us your goal

Buying a home? Preparing for funding? Trying to understand what’s affecting your credit? We start with where you’re trying to go.

  2. 02

    Understand where you stand

We help identify the factors in your credit profile that deserve attention — instead of leaving you to decode a report on your own.

  3. 03

    Get your action plan

You receive understandable next steps in order of priority, written in plain language.

  4. 04

    Decide how to proceed

If we can help, we explain your options and what each one involves. If we can’t, we tell you that too. No pressure either way.

Start with your goal

Where are you trying to go?

Pick the outcome you’re working toward. We’ll take it from there.

For professionals

Not here for yourself? You’re in the wrong funnel — on purpose.

Lenders, brokers, dealers, and advisors work with us through a separate professional track built around reporting and compliance review, not consumer onboarding.

Professional & compliance track

Our method

More than a credit score.

A three-digit number tells you that something is wrong. It doesn’t tell you what, why, or what to do about it. Our approach looks at the full picture behind the number — how accounts are reporting, what a lender would see, and which factors are actually holding you back — so the plan you get is specific to your profile instead of generic advice.

We use technology to do the reading and pattern-finding a person would take hours to do by hand. We do not use technology to decide your outcome.

What the technology does

Reads and structures your report, flags reporting inconsistencies, and organizes findings by likely impact. This part is automated.

What a person does

A Platinum Credit Group specialist reviews the findings, applies judgment, corrects what the software got wrong, and finalizes your guidance. Nothing reaches you unreviewed.

What you receive

A prioritized, plain-language explanation of what is affecting your profile and the steps that apply to your goal — not a score prediction and not a promise.

Our scores, explained

What our scores mean — and what they don’t.

We publish our own readiness measures so you can see the reasoning. They are analytical tools for planning, not credit scores and not decisions.

Financial Health Score

Scale 0–100

What it measures
How your reported credit profile looks as a whole — payment history patterns, balances relative to limits, derogatory items, account mix and age, and reporting consistency.
What affects it
The credit report and financial details you supply. Nothing is inferred from a bureau pull.

Funding Readiness Score

Scale 0–100

What it measures
How prepared your profile appears before you approach financing — the factors an underwriter typically examines, and how complete your documentation is.
What affects it
Your submitted report, stated goal and timeline, and business details where applicable.

0–39

Foundational

Several significant factors need attention before financing is a realistic conversation.

40–69

Developing

Meaningful progress is possible; a prioritized sequence matters more than volume of effort.

70–100

Advanced

Fewer structural obstacles remain; the work shifts to refinement and documentation.

What our scores are not

  • It is not a FICO® Score.
  • It is not a VantageScore®. If a VantageScore appears in your file, it is the score your report supplied — not ours.
  • It is not a lender's underwriting decision, and no lender is bound by it.
  • It does not predict, estimate, or guarantee approval for any loan, card, or line of credit.
  • It does not determine whether an item on your report is legally inaccurate — that requires verification, not a score.

What a finding looks like

Not a list of problems. A prioritized set of decisions.

Every finding in your audit is written the same way: what we observed, why it matters, the data behind it, how urgent it is, and what to do next.

Demonstration data. These examples are illustrative and synthetic. They are not a real client’s file, and they are not a prediction of what your own report will show.

High priority

The same collection account appears twice under two different furnisher names.

Why it matters
Duplicated reporting can make a single past debt look like two separate problems to anyone reviewing your file.
Supporting data
Balance $1,240 · both entries opened within 60 days of each other · both listed as unpaid.
Recommended next step
Request verification of both entries so the reporting can be confirmed or corrected. Keep documentation of what each furnisher returns.

A duplicate appearance is not proof of an error. Verification determines what is accurate — we do not assert a violation.

High priority

Reported balances on two revolving cards sit near their limits on the statement date.

Why it matters
Utilization is one of the factors lenders look at most closely, and it is usually one of the fastest-moving factors you control.
Supporting data
Card A: $4,610 reported on a $5,000 limit. Card B: $2,180 on a $2,500 limit.
Recommended next step
Reduce the reported balance before the statement cuts, starting with the higher-utilization card, and re-check what gets reported the following cycle.

Changes in reported utilization affect how a profile reads. We do not predict a score change or an approval.

Medium priority

Your name and current address are reported three different ways across the file.

Why it matters
Mismatched identity details create verification friction in underwriting and can slow or stall an application.
Supporting data
Two address variants plus a middle-initial mismatch on one tradeline.
Recommended next step
Standardize how your identity information is reported, then confirm the correction appears on the next report you pull.

Identity mismatches are a documentation issue, not evidence of fraud.
